After finishing their assault of the Grim Batol deeps the party returned back to base at Stromgarde Keep, recovering themselves while the leadership they left behind brought them up to speed on the tense standstill with the Orcs, the news of Theramore’s destruction, and the burgeoning war going on over Pandaria in the far south seas. After discussing strategy the party eventually decided to contact Amagra via Mari’s magic, requesting a meeting with her in the caves nearby to speak of the documents they found and hear how her efforts had gone in swaying her clan into neutrality. A few days later at the agreed upon time and place Amagra revealed that she had brought a stir to the camps in Hammerfall, but her father was still as honor bound as ever and becoming stubborn at his daughter’s open defiance of their assistance to the Forsaken. She was very interested in the documents and after a short discussion was allowed to return with them to her father, in the hopes that a concrete display of Baine’s chicanery would give him a reason to stand aside in the Forsaken’s march southward.
Some few days later an outrider came to the city of Stromgarde bearing a white flag to arrange a meeting between the Orcish leadership and the party in the valley of Refuge Pointe. The next day at noon the party met with Korrag, who after questioning the party about the documents, having Marius swear to the truth of his story on his honor, and some obvious deliberation announced that the Bloodhammer clan and all of Hammerfall would stand beside the Frostwolves in protest of the Forsaken. He warned however that his clan would continue to hold the lands to the east of the main road, and that any Alliance incursion would be met with swift retribution. While the Orcs began to withdraw Amagra rode out of earshot of her father to thank the party for figuring out a way to remove her clan from the unwanted conflict, and informed them that she had left a gift for them in their meeting cave that they should retrieve when they have the chance.
